Access Equipment Training
Here at Northern Access Ltd we offer training requirements to suite all needs. We offer IPAF and in house certified operator training to comply with the 2004 working at height regulations which state that all employers must ensure that employees receive training in the safe use of equipment
Operator Training.
Northern Access training on Mobile Elevating Work Platform (MEWPS), Personnel can be trained on the following machinery.
Scissor Lifts (IPAF 3a)
Self Propelled Booms (IPAF 3b)
Trailer Mounted Platforms (IPAF 1b)
Personnel lifts. (IPAF 1a)
Costs of training for IPAF operators @ £175.00 per person. In house training to comply with working at height regulations and insurance needs. Ideal for companies wishing to comply with regulations but where employees will use the same equipment within their own factory space
Our own in house courses take approximately half and day, if two subjects are chosen then our courses last approx 3/4 of a day as some of the risk assessments overlap on each subject taken. Our in house training examiner has over 40 years worth of experience within the powered access industry.
The training is split into Four sections.
1, Risk Assessments
2, Hands on Training
3, Assessed Usage
4, Questionnaire
At the end of the days training candidates will be required to take a short exam to prove they have taken note on the day. If the candidate passes the short exam then he will be issued an A4certificate and a clip on pass certificate.
